A bit different take on your normal big boy cabs. Lots of tart notes, tasting mainly red fruit. Very primary right now. Needs a lot of time (or a crazy long decant). For $250/bottle, not sure I'm there.

Fantastic richness with dark chocolate and black cherry. There were hints of almond, roasted meat and forest floor.

As good as the estate but the difference for me is this is a food wine. Big wine but Melka doesn't smack you in the face it's always about texture and this doesn't disappoint. Just add food.
