The smell of pineapple nearly blows you away. Smells like honey, honey suckle, apple, over ripe or caramelized fruit. Tastes different than it smells - less fruity and sweet. Salt, rotten apples, funk and mildew. Made for German Riesling drinkers or spicy food!

Seeing as this is 60% Gewurtztraminer, I'm not sure why it's listed as a Chardonnay blend. You could very easily mistake this for Riesling. It has the rubbery, pear/peach like nose. Floral, but still with nice acidity. Great food wine.
