Great weeknight Burg

One of the more sublime Burgundies I have enjoyed in a long time....fruit, earth, acid all in perfect harmony!

Hedy’s main entree, Duck Confit - Bread Pudding made with Brioche, Bried Cherries, Kale, Nutmeg, and Mushroom Puree.

I brought three Burgundies with me. This was good with a dark seasoned Duck Confit and was a favorite amongst the group. I think because it was like Goldilocks...this porridge was just right with both the entree and side.

More fruit than dirt. Good but somewhat of a disappointment.

例のブルゴーニュ4本セット、最後の一本。こちらも通常価格3500円らしい。やはり美しいガーネット色、香りは抑えめで、アタックも軽めなものの、アフターで確認できるフルーティな酸味と柔らかいタンニンが秀逸。
結局、4本みんなよかった。

Finally Friday! Relaxing after a hard week, finally feeling like home

Nice wine, but for me needs a little more fruit to compete with the acidity and tannins.

Big fan. Rustic nose with a soft, rich palate

Fruit forward style, somehow smells like a new world wine

Like a Wine tasting kinda wine. With men. Leather and Cigars. People are impressed. Wish there was more fruit and air, but this is good stuff nonetheless!
