This was sailing, with a heady reduced nose with lemon meringue, peach
skin, white flowers in bloom, chalk, perfectly ripe apples. Seamless and
silky on the palate, finely tuned acidity, long finish. Joyful and in
an excellent place now although no problem aging another 4-5 years.

Clear, golden hue. Moderate intensity. Green apple skin & honey comb. Fruit strong, with soft chalk essence. Medium acid, medium length.

17.5 almost golden, but still looks young. Great balance. No premox! (2002). terrific.

Almost dead, surprisingly. Bruised apple, some citrus, some vanilla bean, some pear. Palate is uninspiring, front-heavy and cider-like. That's a shame, I had hopes and Le Cailleret usualy is not bad at all.
