A lovely Sangiovese blend with the bright cherry note shinning through, with other varieties playing supporting but noticeable role, adding body and moderate complexity. But the wine is not being pretentious. It was just delicious and smooth drinking everyday wine, like the winemaker wants it to be.
And it’s good to see a bottle in recent Napa vintages that has less than 14% ABV.
Paired with grilled pork chops. Yum!

Lovely color. Rose and plum together at last. Smells floral and general CA fine wine-y. Hint of wood chips or sawdust etc. Flavor is ripe and vanilla infused. Berry deserts are well represented. Tart. Tasty. Elegant.
