Cabernet-Shiraz is not my favorite style and this one was no exception. The Cabernet and Shiraz were not well integrated with the Cabernet dominating the attack and the Shiraz the finish. The Cabernet was quite hot and harsh while the Shiraz was very peppery.

Still young, some floral notes, slightly acidic with fresh cherries as the overall. Will be much better in another few years. I expected a little more with it being a red blend. Little to no last. Good as a weekday wine, but not memorable.

A dry wine... Very deep ruby colour, still young wine. On the nose, great aroma of black and red fruits, spicy and tobacco and cedar. On the palate, the black pepper is very evident. Very high acidity, good alcohol and great tannins. It is ready to drink but can improve. It's a very good wine and it is high priced.

So much cassis! A bit sweet maybe, but quite good.
