Cork was crumbling, needed to decant but, wow! What a nose on this wine, deep ripe fruits and a warm note on the inhale. Swirling made the deep fruits even more pronounced. Hints of cinnamon hid in the background of oak and vanilla. Warming sensation in the mouth, really quite pleasant. Blackberries and cherry flavors with spicy undernotes made this a really pleasant experience. Expected this to open more on sitting, but didn’t as much as I expected. Rich coffee like sensation at the end. Nice wine. — 7 years ago

Big, bold, lots of jammy fruits but with some back of the nose subtlety. Hints of leather and rope. Slight hint of cigar smoke on the last. Really good with the brisket and sautéed Brussels sprouts. — 6 years ago
What a great wine! Really robust, and grew nicely after a decant. Big berries and fruit in the front, hints of leather sand some earthiness, but overall a knock out of the park. — 7 years ago

Very little nose, green fruit. High acidity on the tongue. Bright cherries. Was refreshing on a warm afternoon before dinner wine, but only a glass. Too acidic and not enough forward fruit. — 7 years ago
Nice nose, really more of a Riesling nose with a hint of vanilla. That should have told me how sweet it was and proved to be. This can be called a Chardonnay, but it’s not apparent from the first sip or two. A little over oaked, but was overwhelmed by how sweet it was. Still enjoyable and a good accompaniment with white chicken chili. Not sure I would purchase again except that it was under $10. — 6 years ago
Bright cherries and fresh flowers on the nose. Color light almost like a Pinot noir, but slightly darker. Legs were not pronounced. Was actually tart on the tongue, almost citrusy but smooth flavor of fresh cherries. Hints of strawberry. Took about 40 minutes to smooth out the tartness, rounded out the cherries. — 7 years ago
Light, very pleasant mouth feel. Great for light meals or with cheese. Slightly smoky with an slight acidic taste. Better, smoother after it was left open to breathe. — 7 years ago

Red blend. Cherry tartness with faint grape jelly in the mouth. Utterly forgettable. — 6 years ago
