Awesome, classic Ribera del Duero. Would like to have a few more years in bottle here. Tasteful wood, earth, and that tobacco/leather thing is ever present. I had a 2006 earlier this year and even that could have used another few years. These are wines of depth.

Great wine. Delicious on the front and back. New world style, a little stronger than an old world Spanish wine. Loved it at Casa Mono-NYC!

Completely untrained and untrellised vines separate Viña Sastre from other producers. This wine embodies the power of Ribero del Duero. Juicy blackberry and plum with a spicy dash of Chinese Five Spice and smooth French Oak. Pretty sure @demaisonselections is there right now!

Delicious Ribera tempranillo. Baked black fruit and subtle eucalyptus aromas, soft tannins, leather, tobacco and blackberry pie on the palate. Full bodied, deep ruby color.
