Certainly had that Maipo Valley nose. Black pepper, green bell pepper, crushed blueberries, currants, and something that made me recall the smell of standing underneath an old lime tree. Outstanding.

Tasted blind - unusual & intriguing herbaceous nose with lightish palate showing lovely fruit and balance - a very different style of wine

Purchased this a number of years ago at Boconariz, a fantastic wine bar in Santiago. Absolutely terrific wine that still has a lot of fruit and balance after 19 years. Seriously doubt this will improve any further…but why wait?

Floral, beautiful aromas. Taste of flowers and green peppers and fresh crushed vegetables and it has inherent vanilla and sweetness yet there’s a bit of Tarte acid hanging us at the end of it that helps build the structure and not make it flabby. Reminds me of the girl who can show up in a black dress 10 minutes before the date and still pull off that figure. The structure is incredible, but it’s natural and you love it.

One of the best carmerneres I’ve had and not overly price. Bright, subtle notes of fruit, nice on its own or with a hearty dinner.

Pleasant. A bit green but the fruit and oak on the palate back it up into a nice place.

Dark crimson. Fruity with some pepper on the nose. Bold berry taste with crisp mint and spice. Medium body with smooth lingering aromatic finish. I like it quite a bit as it is distinctive, but some may be put off by the spiciness.
