Not sure why I got this. I’m not a fan of oxidative style whites and I knew this likely would be. And it is. And I’m not a fan. Still. Not gonna rate because I couldn’t be fair to the style

Waxy, melon , peach, citrus rind nose. Like a canary, honeydew, but field fresh.
Round, and so fresh… you might not guess 2014. There’s no heaviness from wood, though it’s there. Very nice on a summer evening with cod over potatoes and onion w some chorizo. Refreshing, yet full. As it warms it pays dividends, especially in the corners of your mouth.
An interesting creature, not grassy, leaning toward oxidative like LdH, but definitely it’s own thing.
85% Viura, 10% Garnacha, 5% Maturana. Now there’s one that needs investigation. Not your usual filler.
Glad I stumbled on it.

N: Almonds, wax. Delicate white flowers, honeysuckle?
P: Med-bright, citrus but as equal parts, wax, quinine, flowers repeat as do nuts.
Delicious bottle. You could save one for years I’m sure. The wood, a combo of barrique and American oak is already integrated.

Notes of tangerine/citrus, that evolved into pineapple/coconut, & fino Sherry. Knockout aromatics, full bodied. Seriously delicious juice. Stoked that I have another bottle.
