Sunday night and I have opened the 2016 Viña Errazuriz Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot.
On the nose is black cherry, blackberry, red & black currants, green peppercorn, black tea, spice and dusty earth.
The palate reveals notes of tart black cherry, blackberry, red & black currants, green bell pepper, a good dose of minerality and earth.

Lovely cab from errazuriz. Honey and smoky notes. Lovely to drink it along. It holds well opened for a while ( lunch - dinner). Recommended for the decent price.
