I love my Pinot's and Chile has been on my wine travel bucket list since I went to an Errazuriz tasting when working in fine wine sales in Dubai. I picked this #thetcwineclub bottle for a bit of reminiscing & daydreaming!

Errazuriz is family owned and all fruit is picked by hand which is impressive considering they have over 1500 acres of vineyards. They are also one of the most well known Chilean wine brands.

In the glass it's a bit of a bricky orange-red colour, it is 4 years old this year and that's showing through in the colour. On the nose i found it quite earthy and savoury with a hint of strawberries - quite different to the Aussie and Kiwi Pinots I'm use to. On the palate the flavours of cherry and chocolate were really heightened when I had food with it (pork shoulder done on the barbie). This is a Pinot with finesse and super food friendly.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes
