Bramare Valle de Uco Malbec

Inky inky purple like when I was a kid making grape kool-aid from packets of chemical plus pounds of sugar.
Smells promising- deep fruit, herb that is familiar but having a hard time identifying (maybe mint+sage?) and toasted oak.
Herbacious flavors come through along with cocoa bean and diner coffee. Good acid/tannin balance.
Not amazing, but the most enjoyable of the 3 Malbec I've tried this week.

First Argentinian Malbec that I’ve gotten so close to the source. I appreciated this wine as it changed over time. Not big bold fruit flavors but medium bodied and easy drinking.

Very nice Malbec, lots of character, smooth on the palate with dialed down oak. Fruit and spice on palate. Cheers.

Dark plums in the nose. Plums, cassis & blackberries in the palate. Went well with carpaccio and a Wagyu meatball with marinara sauce

Good blueberry style with tingly acids not the floral style

Delicious. Super smooth dark fruit with nice tannins. Hobbs perfected. Want to have more.

One of the best Malbec from the new world by Cobos. This wine is all about fruit with spice box and tar notes. Round and still gentle tannin.

Very bold and full body tasting wine

Dark purple. Dark fruit leather nose. Back palate lingering. Fulll bodied. Strong leather. Lovely.

Outstanding. Fabulous pairing with arroz con pollo and plantains. Ripe red plums and prunes. Young but fabulous. Unfortunately, my only bottle. Very full bodied. Enjoy!
