Viña Callejuela
Blanco de Hornillos Dry Palomino
First b day out in two years for friend. Once the chill lowered has that chalky subtle clarity that only a still wine from sherry country could deliver. More subtle than not, transparent, distilled pine cones. Could really pair with any food. Guessing at vintage.

Feb 2nd, 2022This wine is fascinating! This is dry white Palomino that would normally be used to make Sherry. Lacking any primary fruit, I would guess sake if smelling blind. Some slight elegant aroma of wood/spice. This might be the best ringer at a master Somm tasting ever. Absolutely unique.
