Very juicy and the tannins aren't overwhelming. I can smell berries, and when it hits the tongue there's blackberries, cherries and spices I haven't sorted out yet. It's a tad potent at the first sip then it eases up so the pepper (that's it!) doesn't assault you. It goes down smooth, and I can't wait to pair it with the roasted herb pork tenderloin I've fixed.
