Mountain vineyard wine with aromas of molasses and sassafras & cherry. Pairs well with a hearty winter soup or meat ❤️

Met Noelle & Alexander at the Vintner's Market (children of the wine maker) - so nice!!

All estate fruit, really elegant and pleasantly herbal. Loving this.

Dark and lovely. A dense, impenetrable garnet that you can stand a fork in and thick tears. This is a nice, pleasant Cab that doesn’t try to come across as too clean or too precise. The nose projects a huge jammy wine. Cranberries mixed with spice and clove initially with a touch of funk coming through. Ripe cherries absolutely abound here along with a hint of Kools.

This has all the makings of another big, lusty bad boy but it surprises you. It’s powerful but lean and mean, not nearly as full bodied as you may think. There’s some distinct finesse here to go along with the muscularity. Cocoa powder, more excellent red fruit, oak, and a little underbrush on the palate. Long finish with a bit of spice and menthol. Far softer than you would expect but still powerful. Why can’t they all be like this?

There is definitely potential on this wine, it has a good structure (especially for this price). Needs a few hours of decanting.
