Tasty, dark, with a black fruit, a leather. Short finish, strong tannins. Needs time to "breathe".

Blend of Barbera and Dolcetto source from all over Piemonte. Bright garnet in color and relatively light bodied. Aromas and flavors of black fruit and cooked strawberries. Hints of purple flowers and almonds. A bit of residual bitterness on the finish. I would chill this one a bit. Enjoyed at The North Shore House Wine Pairing Dinner on June 24, 2020.
