"A" Rubicone Rosso Centesimino

Bizarre little qvevri aged wine. Underripe red fruits, lots of hay/underbrush on the mid palate, nice acidity and powdery tannin. Seemed tight but never fully opened up. Great with pasta but did not stand up to lamb shank at Fausto in Brooklyn.

Earthy, funky, dusty. Needs food, but it is WOW with it.

But went down oh so rapidly.

Floral and salty in the nose. Bright minerals with some fruit on the palette. Medium body, some tannins, short finish. Interesting wine, a little pricey
