Traditionally styled CC. Nose needs some air to develop, then shows equal measure powdered rock dust and snappy cherry, along with a moist gravel note. Tightly-knit in the mouth, with tart intense cherry and dusty, stony minerality. Quite dry but with good concentration and zingy acids. This will be better in 2 years but is really good with chicken saltimbocca tonight!

Had a kind of deep, intense nose of tobacco and loam. Seemed to open up after an hour of air. Nice fruit, good tomato- based food wine.
