The 2007 version I had few years back was much better.. There was backbone on this one but overall a disjointed wine that grew sweeter with each sip.

Could have possibly mistaken the nose for a syrah, intense in the front but soft on the finish. Black fruits & violets. Could have potentially used more tannins but a good table wine overall imo.
