Nose is lovely cherry. A bit dusty.

Palate is cherry soda. Elegant. Nice spice. Juicy. Not very dense. Tastes more like a Rosso. Delicious. Grippy. Maybe a hint of vegetal.

Villa I Cipressi Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG 2012. Grilled Marinated Skirt Steak & this elegantly dry, soft & fragrant Brunello! Beautiful red fruit & nice balance between tannins & acidity. First work dinner in almost 5 months! Cheers🍷

Iron character (rusty nails) – from Tuscany

Palate:
Dry wine
Mouth-watering acidity
Tart red fruits
Forrest floor
Oregano, tomato, sage – like herbs, tomato sauce
Balance between tannin and acidity
Imagining it with veal chop, fat to deal with acid/tannin
Leathery notes.

Kings Night dinner

More or less a Brunello cliche. Not a great QPR, but not in any way upsetting or offensive either.

Full, rich and velvety. This Brunello is a great weekend wine to unwind with. Great dinner wine.

Nice nose but palate was jammy not refined
