Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Very fruity. Goes great with a pumpkin waffle for dinner while wearing a pink robe in your 30s on a Sunday night.

Smells fruity... then the spice hits you. Tastes like trouble with a tsk tsk at the end.

Drinkable at best , always gulp/able ,

Light to medium body. Fruit flavors, fairly soft. Short finish.

Too sweet for me but the spice level was nice

I can't really beat the most recent review. It's says it perfectly: fruit, then a gentle, spicy hand slap on the end. YUM

Friend brought over on a weeknight with pizza. What a match! We also had some fresh smoked fish dip and rich chocolate dessert. Bold and delicious. 2013 vintage.

A light and dry red, with decent acidity and tannins, but not terribly complex or fruity. Notes of spice and dried fruit on the nose. Red cherries and tart plums, with hints of spice and peppercorns on the palate. Good table wine.

Nice and light. Gentle finish. Easy drinking
