Balanced, subtle Rhone red from Villa Creek. Great tannin/structure vs many of the flashy well scored jam in a wine bottle Syrah becoming Paso's calling card.

The label bore the brunt of an overstocked wine fridge, but the wine... Tasty.

The 2009 incarnation of Villa Creek's High Road from a magnum. Classic GSM blend (40/40/20) that is drinking beautifully right now. Layers of dark fruits, impeccable balance, and a smooth, lingering finish. Just a terrific wine.
