Light bodied and a bit tart for Chianti but helps it cut through richness in food... Had with homemade pizza...good balance, mossy oak on the nose, not much of a finish but nice nonetheless.

There are a variety of Italian wines that I truly adore...sadly, Chianti just isn't one of them. I'm not about to give up, but up to this point I just haven't had that "oh now I get it" moment. This is a nice wine, light to medium bodied, although a touch in the tart side. It has a medium+ finish with pleasant oaky notes and light to medium complexity.
