Had high hopes but agree with other reviewers about inconsistency. One bottle was ok, not 90 pts ok, but the other was weak and underwhelming. Bitter strawberries, a little cola aftertaste, very light body. — 7 years ago
Very tart, but this offsets some food richness - lots of citrus aroma, mainly lime, hint of lemongrass. Enjoyable. — 8 years ago
I like the cherry vanilla and currant notes that you notice first, along with some oak - medium body, smooth tannins and finish. Great balance. Delicious! — 8 years ago
60% CS 40% Merlot / 20th Anniv bottle
Wonderful. Chocolate, raspberry, cherry, and a touch of cedar. Love the oak. Sad that this is my last bottle! Well done Sullivan. — 7 years ago
Enjoyed this. Nice flavor - light but not weak. Bright red cherries, fruit forward, spicy finish. Will buy again. — 8 years ago
Really liked this. Big and bold, tasty, but with great balance. A mix of fruit up front - cherry, blueberry, currants and maybe a dash of pepper. Long & smooth finish. Yum. — 8 years ago
The nose and aroma are nice - tart red fruits, sweet oak - but the taste is more like juice than wine. — 7 years ago
Spicy like Pinot, but more of a Syrah or Zin style - big, full bodied, raspberries, cherries, and a bit of dryness in the tannins like cassis. I like it, but hard to believe it's not a blend. — 8 years ago
Light bodied and a bit tart for Chianti but helps it cut through richness in food... Had with homemade pizza...good balance, mossy oak on the nose, not much of a finish but nice nonetheless. — 8 years ago
