Nov 27th, 2014Ahhh I love this. Juicy fruit. This wine was aging when I was there is 2008. Fantastic winery. 2006 vintage was also stellar.

Wow, what a nose. Cab notes all the way. Fruit is starting to give way to acid on the palate and best on night one, so recommend drinking sooner rather than later. Still, drinking so well right now.

Some plums, blackberries, spices and toastness are in this complex and integrated wine. Drinking great and enjoy Cab from Chianti.

Jan 23rd, 2017Very big and rich with fruits, herbs, blackberries, spices and toasted oak just make this wine very drinkable. And you know its a Cab but not over the top kind. Took a bit to open but even from the get go excellent. Have one bottle left. I had visited the winery in 2003.

Classic aged Tuscan Cabernet aromas of balsamic, shoe polish , cigar box and damp earth. Like a great boxer at the end of his career this wine shows you something you never expected.
