Immediate green stemmy funk blows off after a couple minutes. Aromas are somewhat closed, but there is a nice variety: ripe strawberry, pomegranate, cranberry; anise, black licorice and root beer. Palate is ripe and juicy, almost sweet, with soft but enveloping tannins. Medium fruit-driven acids. Very pretty, yet highly drinkable.

Solid offering at $18....still can hold a candle to the Marcel LaPierre at $25....spend the extra money!
