Wild herb aromas, menthol and must. Bell pepper flavors - wintergreen, fennel. Velvety tannins, musty-dark berry in the background.

Almost impenetrable, viscous; dry black berries, prunes, tree bark, menthol, uplifted and pleasantly volatile. Well educated but raw. Big, juicy, chewy, balanced. Raised in demijohns a-la rancio style. Still quite classic.
