Found this ‘10, past it’s prime, drink now!
Sep 25th, 2020Cherrywood, licorice, Brett, and violets. Subtle raspberry preserve and rhubarb. Tobacco and menthol. Dried tannin, still room age but as fruit is fading. Dried cherry meets cherry lozenge. Chalky tannins on the palate. Cranberry fruit too. Heat spikes a bit. Menthol and tobacco carry through to the finish.

May 29th, 2018Roasted plum in the nostrils give way to chestnuts, tarragon, seeded blackberry preserves, all wrapped up in a new oak blanket, that is just now starting to temper. Glad I have one more one hand..
