Vigne Marina Coppi
Fausto Timorasso
Tortonesi, Alessandria, Piedmont, Italy
Outstanding. Waxy, deep, and long. So much texture and stuffing. Hard to believe this doesn’t see any oak. Whispering sweet everythings to my palate.

Jul 29th, 2025The petrol note blows off quickly leaving dried white flowers, paraffin, and chalk aromas. Lush, round and lower alcohol than expected. 13%ABV. I'd be interested in trying this wine in a few more years.

Jan 23rd, 2017Dense. Challenging. Delicious. Kept going back to it and watching it evolve. After 4 hours it was still changing and becoming more interesting.

I am not a fan of this Timorasso, even if it is highly regarded. I prefer the Broglia. This wine is far too lemony and sour in the finish, and tastes strongly of alcohol.
