1 person found it helpfulMar 5th, 2014Showing its age.. Tobacco, vanilla, caramel, coconut(American oak?), prune, raisin, old fruit roll-up and fennel/spice/herbs on the nose. Tobacco continuing on the palate, with the prune, oak spice(new American oak spice in its youth I'd imagine), olive, anise and med/soft tannin. To be honest, bought at a grocery store, so might not have been stored properly, but still interesting for a 2006..

Mar 25th, 2015Solid pizza wine that balances sweet plummy flavors with pleasant herbal, tobacco inflected aromas. Dry with bright acidity and moderate tannins. Probably better than "pizza wine" but who can tell when the restaurant serves wine in tumblers...
