Graves Red Bordeaux Blend

2015 vintage. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (50/50).

Vivid cassis and vanilla on the nose, continues with juicy black fruit, oak, fine tannins, and warm stone on the finish. Elegant.

This is a lovely Bordeaux blend that is 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet. Decided to open this before it was past its prime. Aromas of plum, tobacco, leather, vanilla and spice. Aged in 40% new oak. Decent structure and smooth tannin with lingering finish. Probably at its peak so pleased we opened it. Advise aerate, decant, and filter. Some sediment.

Vegetable, grassy, mineral oaky sauvignon

Oddly sweet but nice. Little bit of acid for me

Elegant wine. Color is medium dark red blurry due to age. Very sharp on the nose and wood oaky taste is clear. Fruit becomes more apparent at each taste

Deep plum, cassis and leather flavors.
