Pretty color of ruby with medium plus intensity and a wide reddish rim.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a beautiful nose.

Showing red cherries, raspberries, spices, light oak, licorice, tobacco leaf, herbs, wet leaves and peppercorn.

Grippy tannins on the finish with raspberries.

This 17 year old shows very well now. Powerful, yet soft and smooth. Tangy and interesting.

Good by itself and better with airtime.

Still young and would be better in 5 to 10 years.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in Slovenian oak barrels. Aged for a total of 7 years in oak and bottle. A small production of less than 4,000 bottles. Unfiltered.

A little wound up. Took about two hours in a decanter to come around. Firm tannins, expressing the darker red fruit of Nebbiolo.
