Very fruit forward on the nose, sweet cherry on the palate and surprisingly very tannic. A variety of grapes I’ve never had: 35% Trincadeira, 30% Tinta Roriz, 20% Touriga Franca and 15% Touriga Nacional. A nice Portuguese wine that I would buy again!

This bottle of blended red from Portugal has some serious sexy vibes with the label and cork. Lovely color. Maroon meets red, red wine. Smells berry-licious and slightly ripe. Flavors are also ripe and fruit forward. All Spice as well. Or is that Old Spice. Very light in the mouth. Hint of sweetness like jams and jellies. This isn’t very interesting for a Portuguese blend, but it fits with the cheap blends sweeping the old and new world. Maybe Lolita should have a lollipop too to give a better sense of what the wine’s gonna taste like.
