Standard yellow label is a little too much dosage for me, but the rose is always nice.

Sipping Fine Wine

Philippe Clicquot founded his label in 1772 with an ambition to spread his wine. He conquered Europe and then Russia in 1780, followed by the United States in 1782. His son François, joined him as head of the house in 1798, who had recently married Barbe Ponsardin & 7 years later, following the untimely death of François Clicquot, his young widow ("veuve" in French), just 27 years old, took over the family business. Crisp flavors of strawberry & cherry, vivid acidity on lingering expressive finish. Nice!

Stunning cooper color and aromas of toffee, burnt sugar, dry figs and apricots. Still singing after 29 years. Happy anniversary, Coley!!!

Beautiful rose gold color. Great acidity, very dry. Had this shipped from Reims on a trip there. One more bottle in the cellar…

Deep salmon color. Aromas of biscuit, strawberry and Meyer lemon skin. Silky, smooth and simply amazing! Paired perfectly with 2 year-old cake.

Actually, I prefer a tad more fruit. Awesome though.
