An exceedingly pretty medium gold in the glass with effusive bubbles. There’s a lot to like on the nose with plenty of toast and fruit. Lemons, limes, and fragrant white flowers initially with a roasted nuts coming along shortly. Day old brioche lightly sprinkled with cinnamon.

A Pinot Noir dominated blend and composed of reserve wines from 1990, 1998, 1999, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, and 2014. What a ridiculous blend. Even with all of that it’s still missing soul. There’s a lack of emotion here that is glaring. Impeccably crafted so I do believe that this will improve and grow into something special with more aging and time.

Still, a very stately and dignified champagne. Pleasant acidity and nice balance throughout. The palate follows the nose with plenty of citrus notes on the tongue, along with the briefest hint of spice. Red apples and cherries compliment. Let these sit for a few more years, you may be rewarded.
