Vesuvium
Beneventano Falanghina
At only 12.5% ABV, this still has a lot of heat coming outta the nose. Palate has tons of bright acidic citrus, sea salt, tart Meyer lemon. Long suckling finish like lemon meringue pie. Perfect with our shaved daikon mixed green salad.

Aug 24th, 2014Light, crisp, dry. Tiny mention of lemon zest and green apple. Fast finish with a little lingering sour note. Get what you pay for. Only $6 as an intro offer from a wine club. You could do a lot worse. Suitable for pairing with pecorino toscano and manchego. This will be hidden if paired with foods. Maybe a light shrimp or scallop dish, go easy on the garlic.

Jun 16th, 2014Very light, high acidity, brief green apple up front followed by heavy citrus. Will not stand up to bold food flavors. Better to drink on its own or with subtler flavor profiles. Could be a decent dessert wine with a key lime pie for non sweet lovers 😍
