Leelanau Peninsula Dry Riesling

Pretty damn good. Winery is only 5 years old but they seem to have Riesling on lock...

Has the nose of a classic Riesling. Tart, with lemon, green apple, and apricot. Strong pineapple on the palate. I think it could use a touch more acid, but quite nice.

Sweet for a dry Riesling, pear notes, good mouth coating

Pineapple, pear, citrus, and stone fruits on the nose. And wow, it's good. More lovely pineapple, lemon, and pear on the palate. It's not as pronounced as the French Rieslings, but it's also a young wine and it may develop. However, as it sits it's quite lovely and very drinkable. I love the warmth and subtle sweetness, and it goes down so easily.

While this is a great expression of Michigan Riesling, and it has that wonderfully crisp snap of a tart Granny Smith, it doesn't qualify as "bone-dry" to me.

Nice and tart. A true dry reisling.

Bone dry, crisp citrus, light dry finish, refreshing.

Perfect dry Riesling! Allot like Bluestone from the same region.

Very solid michigan wine. Doesn't have the cloying sweetness that tends to be a hallmark of a region that skews toward sweeter Riesling.
