Field blend. Mostly Mencia with about 25% various red and white varieties - Alicante Bouschet, Doña Blanca, Palomino and Godello- from a single-vineyard in Cobrana, northeast of Ponferrada. Vines are 90+ years old and rooted in clay and slate soils. Co-fermented with whole clusters in oak vats and aged for 8 months in clay amphora, under floor. Bright and juicy, lots of crunchy red fruit. Light-bodied, fresh easy to drink. Subtly saline. High acidity
