This is a very tasty red blend from California.

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Medium plus in body with a nice mouthfeel.

Dry and fruity on the palate with medium acidity.

Showing cherries, currants, plums, cooked strawberries, spices, oak, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth and black tea.

Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 8 year old is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.

Spicy with nice complexity. Tasty and easy drinking. Rich, elegant and fruit forward.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 3 hours of airtime.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A good party wine too.

Grapes are grown in Sierra Foothills and Sonoma County.

A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah.

14.7% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$40.

Dark red purple. Inviting nose of currant and blueberry cobbler. Full bodied palate of black raspberry, currant, and blueberry with a light vanilla sheen. Medium minus acidity and next to no tannins make this unabashedly New World red perfect for cigars, hard cheeses, or warm weather spicy fare. Look elsewhere for your Porterhouse pair or Cassoulet companion. Drink now.

Red blend that is primarily Grenache along with some Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah and Counoise. Dark fruit, baking spice and herbal aromas and flavors. Acidity is quite bright. Savory and earthy. Another excellent Helen Kepplinger effort. Great summer Red as it can handle a bit of a chill! Revisited in September 2021. Still awesome!
