Balanced, earthy, beautifully structured. Everything I expect from this wine.

This is the Cabernet Franc and has a very floral violet perfume flowers and graphite and blackberry crushed rock with multiple layers of spice floral notes very thick and chewy with thick chewy tannins and a long layered finish this wine needs some tim but has all the right proportions. Finish 55+ killer the best nose of the 2909s

+1 hour decant (decent chunky/fine sediment). A gorgeous deep ruby red color with little signs of aging. On the nose: An enticing nose invites you in with Ripe dark fruit, worn leather, potting soil, dark chocolate espresso, minty menthol. Taste: velvety, structured, elegant mouthcoating wine with dark plum/black cherry, dark chocolate, licorice, green bell pepper, minerals, and a cigar leaf/cedar/pepper long finish. YUM! These Verite wines reward patience. Of the 3 Verite wines, this is their Saint Emillion style(cab franc dominates with merlot).

Amazing nose of flowers and red plums. Full bodied in a way that is not overwhelming. Perfect age for this stunning wine

Bubble gum on finish not typical for a cab franc blend, really nice wine. Got better the longer it decanted (8 hours).

Concentrated, spicy, deep, full character and balanced tannins, with pencil lead, spice box, leather, dried cooked fruit, dried leaves (cab franc) just tons of length even after several days open. Excellent. True to name it really tastes like quality Bordeaux.
