Though technically from Montsant, it has the Priorat areas seeming trademark combination of rich red and dark fruit wrapped in mineral and herbal notes like lavender. A bit reductive so needs time to open up for maybe an hour. This is a delicious wine, exceptional at $24, especially for those of us use to getting mugged for lesser quality in Cali.
