A delicious Zinfandel based blend from Napa Valley.
Big and full bodied with medium acidity.
Extremely fruity on the palate with a nice mouthfeel.
Showing nice complexity already, although very young.
Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, caramel, dried figs, raisins, sweet vinaigrette and spices.
Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years.
Good right out of the bottle and better after 2 hours of airtime.
A blend of 63% Zinfandel, 16% Charbono, 12% Petite Sirah and 9% Syrah.
15.5% alcohol by volume.

A few fun 4th Friday wines from tonight.
On its own, this may have been better, but it shared the table with two high quality Zins and took a backseat to both. Even with 8yrs on it this just oozed freshly squeezed blackberries, currant, jam and dark cocoa. Very dense and mouth coating with spicy noted and licorice like richness. A flavor bomb with a lot of sweetness.

A very pleasant Zin blend. Lots of fruit and a real rounded mouth feel. Probably one of the best blends I have had in years. Great rib choice.

This is a big wine. Rich, ripe and intense.. cherries, licorice, slight hint of cured meat. In the mouth it has a lot of pepper, chocolate, ripe fruit and a super long finish. This wine has a surprisingly soft feel with the tannins coming in at the end. Love this wine! 11/9/14

Jammy with lots of black pepper. R/S. M + alcohol and body. M tannin. Black jammy fruit on the palate with a M finish. Balanced.

Scout’s Honor is a blend of; Zinfandel, Charbono, Petite Sirah & Syrah.
This is an easy drinker and can be consumed young. Great flavors.
The nose reveals, ripe; plum, purple fruits, blueberries, black raspberries & raspberries on the edges, Black licorice, rich, dark soils, vanilla, caramel, clove, medium spice, touch of pepper, blue and purple flower, violets with lavender.
Nice fresh mouth entry. Your palate senses delicious immediately. The body is round and medium. Definite fruit sweetness. Ripe; plum, purple fruits, blueberries, black raspberries, blackberries & raspberries on the edges. Black licorice, rich, dark soils, vanilla, caramel, clove, darker spice than the nose that brings heat as it sets, touch of pepper, dry soils, crush rocks, blue and purple flower, violets with lavender.
