The wine is clean, precise and multi-layered. Roasted black fruits give way to graphite and soft brown sugar. The finish extends and expands on the palate. This is a beauty of a cab.

Second of the blind red wines. Theme was Cabernet Sauvignon or Bordeaux Blend from Oakville, Stags Leap District or generic Napa Valley with professional reviews of 95+.
Deep purplish red. Beautiful and young nose coated with violets, blackberries and sweet spices. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. Plush palate layered with blackberries, red fruits, cinnamon, branches and a light bit of earthiness. A bit of alcohol was definitely present. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2030. (93+)

Bone crushingly massive but balanced. Decanted for 2 hours, had to scrape the bottom of the decanter to get it t back in the bottle. Awesome deal.

One of my favorite cabs in a while. Kicks off concentrated with darker fruit but the sweet fruit forward characters are balanced with some earthy ness and a bit of acidity on a loooooong finish. I need to find another couple of bottles. #wheninamerica #drinknapa #dontmindthesesamestreetinthebackground

@Martin G Rivard , I hunted this down based on your comments from a few days ago. It is terrific! Full-bodied with excellent depth of fruit and nice complexity. Delicious.

Its been awhile since I opened the 14,
Last time I opened the 14 Parker had it at 90-92, glad to see he has raised the score to 96 because his original rating was ridiculously low
