Heytesbury Margaret River Red Blend

Not your Grandmothers PG- more of the chiseled yet broadly fruited- muted Tropicana fruits- with a strong acidic backbone. Runs a bit hot? Methinks one of the pedigreed Fruili makers.

Strong blackcurrant, weaker blackberries with spice and ecylaptus. Nicely balanced and very smooth.

2008, still some acute lively tannin from the Petit Verdot. What a wondrous wine at 9 years on.

Acidic, dry, apricot, grapefruit, nice and complex for a Pinot Grigio

Bordeaux-ish blend av Cab Sauvignon, Malbec och Shiraz. Fått utvecklas under kork i 17 år. Cabernet-driven smakprofil med svartvinbär, blyerts, ceder men bra hållning från markerat (med nedslipat) tanninavslut. Bra syrligt avslut med eukalyptus och mineral sensation. Har en svalodlad känsla med massa fräschör. Känns som drickfönstret är öppet flera år till.
