Sunday in NYC with an illustrious crew.
Let me intro the owners from Brilliant Mistake (John and Stacy) and their winemaker Maayan and his wife, Dana. Next to my wife is Adam Stromfeld.
Super time. Wine took second place to the company.
Pure grassy notes on the nose. Nice green apple on the palate. Nice soft oak, with subtle hints of gooseberries. Really nice.

Typical Vasse elegance in this new (to me!) Chardonnay cuvée, but lots of rich fruit too. Retains that lovely, Burgundian seam of savoury which all good Margaret River Chardonnays should have.

#blastfromthepast I remember working with the winemaker years ago just befor Halliday blew up the Heytsbury Red as WOTY. True to form, big and opulent. Rombauer ain't got nothing on this guy

Very pale in colour. Crowd pleasing mix of French Oak and passion fruit notes. A Sauvignon Blanc lovers Chardonnay! Good quaffer on a hot day and great value for $20.90. Their flagship - the Heytesbury is one of the best Chardonnays in Australia.
