Incredible assyrtiko. If Hatzidakis is like Raveneau making Assyrtiko, Vassaltis is Dauvissat.

This wine is fantastic. The standout at a Greek wine tasting. Minerality and lemon grass on the nose. Stone fruit that has a lingering finish. Highly recommend at $36 here.

Slight reduction, green apple, melon, salted nuts, dried apricot, white flowers, chalky minerals. Green pineapple, white peach and nectarine and tropical fruits. Medium plus acidity.

By the glass. High SO2 burns. Lemon. Lime zest green note. Stones. Simple.

Green apple, ripe pear, saline, lemon. Lean and a bit bitter on the front palate. M+ acid. M- body. Lemon zest. Balanced.

Lemon colour, lemon zest bouquet, dry, good acidity with, yes, lemon, plump lemon and well balanced on the palate. Lingeringly long on the finish, a delicious Greek wine.

Pale gold, dry, acidic and hints of mineral. Very crisp with lime, lemon, green mango. Excellent choice paired with Sushi.

Will pine for this later.

Babyfat chablis with flint instead of Kymer and a fruity hint. Very good - yet pricey given the competition in this realm. Would be interesting to revisit with age.
