Upper Picnic Block Spring Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir

2014 vintage -really pretty slight underbrush dried cherry/blueberry very soft tannins -good time to drink

2014, I'm guessing mostly Pommard clone here, great fruit tannin and acidity hiding behind that. What an amazing find. Cranberry and earl grey tea.

I would agree...with the pro rating of 93.

Clear cherry color with earthy notes of cherry and blackberry. Moderately high in alcohol (14.1%) which comes through on the palate but excellent with baked salmon.

Tasty but a little riper than expected for Santa Cruz.

Dark fruit, spice. Tasty, but riper and richer than expected for SCM.

2016 vintage. Enjoyed on January 6, 2018.

First Varner Pinot for me. Nicely done.

Balsamic notes on the nose and throughout. Fresh and intense with savory rhubarb flavors. Subltley bitter/sweet on the finish.

Great Pinot!! Wonderful nose- musty, earthy smell with strong berries.
