Bought this on one of our first trips to Napa. Popped tonight for the kids - we were told at the time this was the only late harvest cab sauv produced in Napa. This was still delicious!

Still has acidity up front. Plenty of funk. Nice tannins. BIG. Opening slowly, changing slowly. 鐵打酒 totally!!

Maybe the first wine I ever bought to keep. With Tom and Patrick at the farm. Rich and unctuous with a touch of residual sugar and a warm, long finish. Picked at 33 brix (which is about average for anything RMP rates above 96, isn't it?) :)
