Sonoma County Zinfandel

Good reminder that numbers don’t tell the full story boysenberry fruit but the alcohol was biting my nose and was super apparent on the mouth seemed out of balance to me at 14.8 % abv on the label wasn’t super expressive

Fruit forward and full. We loved it!

Normally zins r too much for me but this one is really lovely.. Subtle and restrained

really enjoyed the body

Gift from Jim Titus. Well balanced tart and dry with mild sweetness from dark fruits

This is nice. Reminds me of Bella zin. Raw cocoa, plum jam, baking spice, mint, some wood. No vanilla. Blackberries, maybe some fennel. Really well balanced. I’d buy again.

Solid Zin. Some nice peppery notes, but nothing memorable.

Poured through an aerator right after opening. Nose: deep! Dark cherry, dark berry, salted caramel, baking spices - but not in the cheap wine way, in the deep, well-made wine way. A little coconut. Something candied. This is very promising. Taste: smooth, tropical fruits (mango and passionfruit!) exptic…dense and interesting. This is interesting stuff! Weird, not my favorite, but fun - 90! EDIT: ANOTHER REVIEW SAID MUSK, AND THEY ARE RIGHT!
